The opportunities really are endless, but here are some things to consider to get you started. Be Creative
Are you part of a group or club? Your group or club could organize a fundraiser for AHHS and help us help the more than 5,000 animals we care for each year.
There are numerous things you could do:
- Have a bake sale, spaghetti dinner, cake walk, etc. - and donate the proceeds to the shelter.
- Play Bow Wow Bingo - and donate the proceeds to the shelter.
- Have a toy or treat drive - and donate all items received to the shelter.
- Throw a party and charge a cover charge - and donate the proceeds to the shelter.
- Pass the plate at your next meeting - and donate the proceeds to the shelter.
These are just a few ideas, but the list really is endless. Raising money for these animals, the ones who need us the most, can be fun and easy. All fundraisers that benefit us are greatly appreciated, regardless of how big or small the event is. Every donation counts!
Pop a Top for AHHS
Do you drink a lot of pop or beverages in aluminum cans? Do you want to recycle them and help homeless animals at the same time? If so, we have just the opportunity for you.
We are able to recycle aluminum cans for a small donation. The more cans we have, the larger the donation becomes. You are welcome to bring your bags of aluminmum cans to us, and we'll recycle them on behalf of the animals we care for. It's an easy way to do some good for the animals in need.
