Education Program
Humane education programs are available for preschool through college classes and adult groups. The purpose of these programs is to promote awareness of the Humane Society’s mission and goals and humane ethics toward all animals. Grade-school presentations make up the majority of our programs with basic pet care and bite prevention being the most requested classes. Available activities include shelter tours and time with the animals and classroom or club visits by an AHHS representative. The Almost Home Humane Society believes that education is the key to achieving our goal of no more homeless pets in our community and around the world.
To schedule an education program for your class or group, please contact CJ Jones at 765-474-5222, ext. 302 or via e-mail at taylor@almosthomehumane.org.
